Drake University holds three different career fairs every year: accounting/finance fair, actuarial science fair, and all-university career fair.

Speed Networking

Drake American Marketing Association hosted a speed networking event in which 32 employee representatives attended.

CC Young Alumni Event

Meg Fisher, an entrepreneur/management and marketing major in 2009, was the guest speaker. She is the founder of Lincoln & Lexi, a children's apparel store.

Putt Golf Event

The different CBPA organizations designed golf holes for the Putt Golf Event, a social gathering provided for the students.

Study Abroad in Uganda

Summer 2012 twenty one Drake students spent 3 weeks studying sustainable development in Uganda.

Downtown Street Painting

The American Marketing Association (AMA) student organization won first-place in the annual Drake Street Painting extravaganza.

Connect Event

Over 450 students attended the Connect events held in Des Moines, Minneapolis, Chicago and Kansas City.

The CBPA offers a student centered environment for the study of business. Approximately 1100 students are pursuing undergraduate degrees in ten majors.

An additional 500 students are enrolled in graduate studies pursuing masters degrees in business administration (MBA), public administration (MPA), finance (MFM) and accounting (MACC).

The CBPA is one of only four colleges in Iowa accredited by AACSB International-The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, the principal accrediting body for business programs.
